Service Level Management

Service Level Management (SLM) is the proactive methodology and procedures used to ensure adequate levels of service are delivered to all consumers in accordance with business priorities and at acceptable cost. The implementation of service level management will improve customer satisfaction, make more effective use of resources and enhance the standing of the service provider within the client organization.

SLM requires the definition and then continually measuring, reporting and improving the IT service quality. This requires an understanding of each service, it's consumers and it's relative priority within the business.

Our IT service delivery practice can assist you in the following ways:

  • Introduce Service Level Management into your organization
  • Obtaining a baseline for services
  • Negotiating Service Levels
  • Defining Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Defining Operational Level Agreements (OLAs)
  • Implementing monitoring tools and reporting procedures
  • Facilitating service reviews
  • Improve service quality
